Fullmetal and Titania Locked Down

Here's the results of the second CiD voting event! I must say I never saw myself drawing either of these characters before now, but it made for an interesting experience. I didn't work the Fat Derpy Ariados into this picture like I said I might earlier, but that's because there's no way Ariados could get the gags on (he's not that smart). Don't worry, though; I have a picture all planned out for him to appear in.  

Erza's pose was hard for me to draw for some reason--it took two or three tries to get her legs where I wanted them. As a result I had to attach her to some kind of weird machine instead of something a little more stable (since the CiD vote said she should be secured to an object of some kind). I have no idea what that thing is that is holding her, but hopefully it keeps her secure. Whoever captured these two would really have their hands full if they got loose!

Edward Elric gave me a whole different kind of challenge. I'm not used to working with models that are so... Short. (Hopefully he didn't hear that...) I couldn't really find a way to make his pants glossy but while I was poking through Photoshop's tools I found something that might help me change the way I shade my projects. I'll see if I can apply it somewhere else.
